What Our Customers Are Saying…
“I took my kids there (girl 5, boy 10) and they had so much fun that two hours later I had to make them leave! I sat and read a book while they played. The photo is accurate; it is not a large place… but you can relax and keep an easy eye on the kids. Nice way to spend a couple of hours.”
“This place offered an amazing class for lego animation. My son and his friend really had a great time and it was a life saver during school breaks. The staff was friendly and accomodating. If you want somethign more than just general play with thousands of legos that don’t end up on your carpet, then there are always classes.”
“C&A Robot Factory has been a Godsend for my two tech-crazed sons. The classes are top-notch and the boys are gradually learning what will be needed to fully program the MINDSTORMS® units. They’re not into sports, they’re not into music…it’s hard to find activities for kids who are simply engineers at their core. This place nails it.”
“I brought my son (10 years old) to this place after hearing about it through a friend. My son really enjoys coming here to build with the lego bricks and has taken several of the “robotic” classes they offer. What you will and won’t find at C & A Robot Factory. You won’t find the glitz and glamour of the LEGO®land in Schaumburg or any other large scale child related operation. However, you also won’t be out-of-pocket $100.00 plus after several hours. I love this place because of it’s quaint “mom and pop” environment. For a nominal fee, I can bring my son there to play for several hours and still have the time and financial resources for other activities. In my opinion the “robotic” classes are by far C & A’s coolest offering. The robotics field continues to grow and will be huge in the future. Respected universities (Carnegie Mellon, MIT, Southern CAL, etc.) have entire curriculums devoted to robotics field. What better way to introduce your son and/or daughter to this exiting field.”
“I took my two boys here when they didn’t have school for spring break. The oldest who is 5, had a blast playing with all the random legos on the tables. He met some new friends and they all were building awesome structures and helping each other with new ideas. I really loved how they were able to use their imagination to put the thousands of legos to use. My younger one who is 3 had a great time with the other toys they have for the younger children. They have a large collection of duplo (the legos for younger children) and train sets which he loved. They have other building materials too for the younger kids so they can also engage in building activities. They also offer a whole bunch of classes for children to take and summer programs which I am really interested in signing my kids up for. This place was a great place to go for some free play, inside, and it wasn’t too costly like some of the other places you can take your kids for many of the same types of activities. This place is great for people who can’t afford to buy all of the really expensive lego sets that their kids LOVE. I can’t wait to go back and and I only have a few more months before my oldest can take rocket classes, so he’s pretty excited about that too.”
